Title: LSM Thanksgiving Conference Children’s Serving Ones Sign Up

Date: 11/24

Details: Praise the Lord for the coming Thanksgiving Conference. This is the first time our large scale Thanksgiving gathering since pandemic. Much prayer is needed for His grace and covering.  For practical children service, our region will be covering the first message (Thursday night 11/24). LSM requests 56 serving ones per meeting! So, the demand is great but also the grace is sufficient!  High schoolers can help ONLY when they serve with their parents. No junior high. College students are also welcome. If you cannot serve for the first meeting but are willing to help other regions in different meeting, e.g. Friday, Saturday or Lord’s day, you are also welcome to let us know.

Starting from this year, LSM requires ALL children serving ones go through background check, i.e. mainly for children-related criminal records. This is to shut the door from Satan’s attack.

Title: LSM Thanksgiving Conference Book Sales Sign Up

Date: Sign up deadline is 11/16

Details: The books service for the conference will mainly consist of three parts: setup, booksales and breakdown.  Because some training is required, LSM will like to ask that those serving on the booksale serve at least 3 slots minimum. Book serving saints need to follow the dress code by LSM. 

1. Setup Section – Wednesday, November 23, 9:00am – 4:00pm

2. Booksales Section – 1 hour before and after each meeting (12 slots)

3. Breakdown Section – Lord’s Day, November 27, 12:00pm – 3:30pm

Title: LSM Thanksgiving Conference Ushering and Children’s Security Services

Date: Sign up deadline is 11/13

Details: There is a need for 15 serving brothers to cover ushering and children’s service security detail needs for each message. Ten brothers are needed for the ushering, and five brothers are needed for the security detail. The greater DC area churches are specifically responsible for the Thursday, November 24, evening session. In addition, the same 10 brothers on ushering (to the extent possible) would also be needed to assist with serving the elements for the Lord’s Table meeting before the last message on November 27
