1/24 Online Prayer meeting 7:30 – 8:00 pm

1/24 We have been invited to have love feast with DC on Wednesday dinner time with the 6 FTTA trainees (who are visiting on the gospel trip) and the saints in DC and remain there for the prayer meeting of the church.

1/25 Sister’s Prayer time 8:00 – 8:30 pm

Title: EPIC for the college age

Date: January 27, 5-9pm

Location: The HUB (Room 1&2 at GMU)

Details:  Enjoyment Praising Intercollegiate Campuses (EPIC) is a combined meeting of the students in the DC area. This one will be hosted at George Mason University by the churches in the area.

Title: Love Feasts

Dates: 1/28

Location: Green Acres

Details: We will have a love feast on 12/17 after the LD meeting. The main dish will be catered and click here to sign up for salads, sides, and desserts.

Title: Annual Business Meeting

Date: 2/4

Location: Green Acres

Details: The church in Fairfax plans to hold a short annual business meeting at 11:00 A.M.  This meeting is required by law. We encourage all the Saints to come on this Lord’s Day to make sure that we have a quorum.

Title: Next HWMR hard copy is available for purchase

Details: The hard copy of the next Holy Word for Morning Revival “Knowing, Experiencing, and Living the All-inclusive Christ for the Genuine Church Life,” is available at Green Acres for purchase at a cost of $8.

Title: 2024 Paris Olympics Gospel Trips

Details: Application form for the 2024 Paris Olympics gospel trips is now available. These trips provide a momentous opportunity for millions of people to be contacted with the Recovery Version and ministry materials. An email is forthcoming regarding more information on this to all the saints.

Title: Hospitality for FTTA Gospel Trip Trainees

Dates: January 27-29

Details: There is a need for hospitality for FTTA trainees (3 brothers and 3 sisters) who will be in the DMV area during January 27-29. These trainees are part of FTTA sponsored Gospel trip in coordination with the churches in our area. If you are able to provide hospitality, please use the link to sign up.

Title: Bible Reading Challenge

Dates: 1/21 – 4/29

Details: The college campuses will start a Bible Reading challenge starting on the 21st of January to April 29, 2024. 

We will be grouping the college students together in small groups along with any local saints who would be interested in joining in order to foster a habit of reading the Word and to afford local saints more shepherding opportunities. 

We are calling this 100 Days with the Apostle Paul as the reading challenge will be for Monday through Friday with the goal of finishing the epistles of Paul from Romans to Hebrews. We will be using biblechallenges.com. If you are interested in participating, please sign up.
