10/29 7:30 – 8:00 pm Prayer Meeting at Raju and Susannah’s

10/30 8:00 – 8:30 pm Thursday sisters prayer time

Goals for 2025 – Church in Fairfax
1. Personal Time with the Lord – have a set time and place; spend 5-7 minutes with the Lord personally
2. Shepherding – Pray and seek the Lord on whom to contact (one saint and/or one gospel  friend)
3. Serving – Each saint join at least one service group – “Even the arranging of chairs and the cleaning of restroom are not for themselves; they are for ministering life.  In ushering,.. we must do everything to minster life to others.” Normal way of Fruit-bearing and Shepherding, Ch 1″

Title: Request for Hospitality

Dates: 11/7 – 11/9

Details: A family of four from Virginia Beach is requesting hospitality. They have two young kids (11 year old boy & 6 year old girl). The boy has a state piano competition at GMU on Saturday. They will arrive on Friday night and join us for the Lord’s table and love feast. Please let Raju or Susannah know if you can accommodate.

Title: 2025 December Semiannual Training

Details: Registration for the 2025 December Semiannual Live and Video Training is open. Registration Deadline is TODAY October 26, 2025. Registration fee is $205 per trainee/shared seat for the Live Training. For the video training, the registration fee is $130 per seat and $135 for a shared seat. All 2025 December training registration payments should be payable to church in Fairfax

Details: The 2026 Gospel Calendar is now open for order through the link below by TODAY, 10/26. Pick up will be at the bookroom in church in Dunn Loring.

Title: College Retreat

Dates: 10/31 – 11/2

Location: Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center (9275 Barnes Road, Toano, VA)

Details:

Meals: 5 meals – Sat breakfast – Sunday lunch

Check-in begins 6:30 PM on October 31

Cost: $100 for individuals in bunk style rooms (no more than 6 per room). Late fee of $10 after 10/12

Registration: Deadline 10/12 (Payments can be made by Zelle to Christians on Campus (midacwork@gmail.com). Registration is not considered final until payment is received.
